Made it to the top of Bukhansan Mountain in Seoul, South Korea! |
Summary of My Qualifications
I am currently an undergraduate student working towards a
Global Supply Chain Management degree at California State University,
Northridge. Right now, I am enrolled in a Systems Operations Management course,
where I am learning about process flow, waiting lines, forecasting, and how to
use Excel for data analysis. Additionally, about three months ago, I returned
from a yearlong study abroad program in Seoul, South Korea at Yonsei
University. I have an interest in international business, which was a main
focus of the courses I took while abroad, such as Marketing, Management
Information Systems, and International Business Communication. From this experience, I learned how to adapt
quickly to new environments. I also had the chance to continue my Korean
language education, which I have been pursuing for about three years now.
Upon returning to the United States after studying abroad, I began working part-time at the CSUN International and Exchange Student Center as an assistant to the study abroad advisors. In this position, I assist with study abroad promotional activities, conduct weekly information sessions to freshman classes, and schedule appointments. I am also a member of the National Association of Collegiate Scholars. As part of the CSUN NSCS chapter, I take part in monthly volunteering activities, most recently as a volunteer at the 2015 Light the Night Walk in Santa Clarita. Right now, I am looking forward to gaining real-world experience in the Global Supply Chain industry through a supply chain internship with a top company in the aerospace industry, where I may apply the skills I have learned at CSUN and abroad.
